This year saw EVAG and ELAG's fifteenth certification audit to DIN EN 9001:2008, and again we passed with flying colours!
Nevertheless, it is a new challenge for us each year. For example, this was the first year that we certified our holding company ELAG in line with the new GMP B3 standard. This change was necessary, as we no longer had the option of certification in line with the previously applied GMB B2 standard.
Additionally, this was the first time that we were able to show our document management portal, "sycat", by sycat-ims GmbH, at work during a certification audit. This portal gives our employees in the different divisions online access to quality management documentation. This innovation within the company ensures that employees can access the latest documents at any time. Additionally, this tool now also handles document management. Besides saving human resources, this also reduces paper consumption, thus protecting the environment.
The certification was carried out by DEKRA as in previous years. The auditors confirmed that have continually developed our QM system and that we meet the requirements of the standard. In some areas, we have even developed our QM system beyond the requirements of the standards.
