Due to our high-quality standards and a steady improvement in all areas of quality combined with an active integration of our employees, it is with pleasure that we can report that our Re-certification has been once again successful. The entire EVAG group achieved the desired objective of passing the Re-certification audit on the basis of the new German Institute for Standardization EN ISO 9001:2008 in June. In addition to the above mentioned certification in our subsidiary, the ELAG Emder Lagerhaus und Automotive GmbH, Re-certification was also approved in accordance with GMP B2.
It has always been the case the certification was performed by DEKRA. The auditors confirmed that our Quality Management system had met the standardization required by ISO, in some working areas in fact above this benchmark.
Regarding the preparation for the certification audit our first challenge was to familiarize ourselves with the latest version of the ISO standards. We then amended our working processes accordingly to maximize our optimal performance.
