During the month of February 2010 we were again engaged in transshipment activities with loading of concrete tower parts for the wind energy manufacturer ENERCON on the south quay in Emden.
The load of 6 concrete towers had a total weight of approximately 4,800 tons. This was broken down and loaded in 200 separate components. It is of the utmost importance, with this kind of cargo, that our experienced stevedores follow the stowage plan instructions to the last letter, in order to ensure exact positioning and the optimal cuse of the ship's space.
The destination of the ship was the French port of Montoir.
